Maura Higgins Details Effort Required for Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Latex Outfit
The television personality revealed it took five people to help her into a skintight latex ensemble for the event.
Maura Higgins, 35, shared on Instagram that it required the assistance of five individuals to get into the form-fitting white latex corset and matching leggings she wore to the Victoria's Secret Show. Higgins posted a behind-the-scenes photo of the preparation process on Monday.
Higgins, who is currently competing on "Dancing With The Stars," presented a striking figure at the event in her white latex ensemble and stilettos, with her brunette hair styled in a bouncy blown-out look. Her appearance drew comparisons to runway models such as Gigi and Bella Hadid.
The event also saw Kylie Jenner make a surprise runway debut, wearing the brand's $50 million Fantasy Bra. This marked the first time the bra, featuring a $22 million yellow diamond centerpiece and 4,410 other diamonds, had been on the runway since 2018. Jenner became the first non-Angel to model the piece, a decision that reportedly ignited fan criticism.
Meanwhile, Higgins has been managing a neck injury sustained during rehearsals for "Dancing With The Stars." Despite experiencing a painful twinge on the left side of her neck, which she feared would impact her performance, she continued to compete. During a rehearsal for a Tango routine, Higgins was seen in agony, prompting her professional partner Mark Ballas and a medic to attend to her. She expressed concern that the injury was worsening and could jeopardize her live performance.
Despite the injury, Higgins has remained a strong contender on the show, earning high scores from the judges. Her performance on the fifth week placed her second on the leaderboard.
