Newlyweds Matty Healy and Gabbriette Bechtel were photographed sharing a passionate kiss during a date night at Carbone restaurant in London's Mayfair on Monday. The couple, who married in July, showed affection as they dined at the celebrity hotspot.
Healy, 37, wore a navy blazer with dark grey jeans, while Bechtel, 29, opted for a chic black coat, black dress, fishnet tights, and towering heels. They were seen walking arm-in-arm after their meal.
The couple tied the knot in July in a star-studded ceremony at Castillo del Lago, a property previously owned by Madonna. Guests included Charli XCX, Emily Ratajkowski, and Healy's bandmates from The 1975. A source told the Daily Mail that the ceremony took place under the Hollywood sign at sunset.
Following the ceremony, Healy performed a set with The 1975 for the reception. A representative for the couple confirmed their marriage in a private ceremony in Los Angeles attended by family and close friends. A source close to the couple described them as "absolutely in love" and a good fit, with one adding that the right person had come along for Healy to settle down.
Bechtel, an American model and social media influencer, was previously the lead vocalist and songwriter for the punk-pop band Nasty Cherry. The couple has been linked since September 2023, following Healy's split from Taylor Swift. They announced their engagement in 2024 after a nine-month relationship.
Reports suggest the couple may remain in Los Angeles to be close to Bechtel's family, rather than Healy's home in north London. Healy's ex-partner, Taylor Swift, recently married Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce.
