Newlyweds Matty Healy and Gabbriette Bechtel were photographed sharing a passionate kiss during a dinner date at Carbone restaurant in London's Mayfair on Monday. The couple, who married in July, appeared to be in the midst of their honeymoon phase, exhibiting considerable public displays of affection.

Healy, 37, the frontman of the band The 1975, wore a navy blazer, dark grey t-shirt, and light jeans. Bechtel, 29, an American model, was dressed in a chic black coat, black dress, fishnet tights, and towering heels.

The couple's wedding took place in July at Castillo del Lago in Los Angeles, a venue formerly owned by Madonna. The ceremony was attended by celebrity guests including Charli XCX, Emily Ratajkowski, and Healy's bandmates. A source told the Daily Mail that the couple tied the knot just before sunset and that Healy performed a set with The 1975 at the reception.

A representative for the couple confirmed their marriage in a private ceremony in Los Angeles. Sources described the pair as "absolutely in love" and noted that Healy had found the "right person" to settle down with. Bechtel, who was a vocalist and songwriter for the punk-pop band Nasty Cherry, is from Orange County, California.

Healy and Bechtel were first linked in September 2023, following Healy's split from Taylor Swift in June of that year. They announced their engagement in 2024 after a nine-month romance. Swift, meanwhile, recently married Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce.
