Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford's wife, Kelly Stafford, has shared that she is currently dealing with insomnia. She revealed this condition on her Instagram stories prior to the Rams' recent 18-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
In one of her posts, a time-stamped image from 3:04 AM, she stated, "Insomnia sucks." Shortly after, she shared a more positive note, posting a photo of Matthew Stafford holding one of their daughters with the caption, "But what doesn’t suck is what you find when you have insomnia 🥹🥹." This suggests that while sleep deprivation is difficult, it led her to a heartwarming family moment.
Kelly Stafford has previously spoken about the effects of sleep on her relationship. In a 2025 interview with Forbes, she discussed the importance of quality sleep, noting that sleep deprivation had previously led to arguments and irritability within her marriage. "Good sleep has helped our marriage," she stated at the time.
