Matthew Stafford's Daughter Hilariously Returns Historic Game Ball

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford reached a significant milestone on Sunday, becoming the first NFL quarterback to achieve the most passing touchdowns with two different franchises. This historic moment occurred during the Rams' 35-21 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.

The third and final touchdown pass of the game, thrown to Puka Nacua in the second quarter, marked Stafford's 155th career touchdown with the Rams, setting a new franchise record. Prior to this, Stafford had amassed 282 passing touchdowns during his 12 seasons with the Detroit Lions, also a franchise record for that team.

Following the game, Stafford, who had his wife and four daughters in attendance, approached his family to present the historic game ball. In a moment captured and shared widely, his youngest daughter, unaware of the ball's significance, playfully threw it back to him. Stafford then appeared to explain the ball's importance before re-gifting it to her.

The Rams' official social media accounts shared a video of the endearing exchange with the caption, "Matthew giving the game ball to his daughters 😭."
