Matt Nagy Sees Hall of Fame Potential in Jaxson Dart-Isaiah Likely Connection

New York Giants offensive coordinator Matt Nagy believes the burgeoning chemistry between quarterback Jaxson Dart and tight end Isaiah Likely reminds him of a Hall of Fame-caliber duo. Nagy, who previously served as the Chiefs' offensive coordinator, witnessed firsthand the development of the prolific partnership between Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

Nagy was with the Chiefs in 2017, the year Mahomes was a rookie and Kelce was establishing himself as a star. Although Mahomes primarily served as a backup that season, the practice repetitions laid the groundwork for their future success. After a stint coaching the Chicago Bears, Nagy returned to Kansas City and spent four seasons as offensive coordinator, overseeing the Mahomes-Kelce connection as it evolved into one of the NFL's most dominant pairings.

Now with the Giants, Nagy is observing a similar dynamic emerging between Dart and Likely. He has identified Likely as a key focal point in the Giants' offense, with Dart increasingly connecting with the tight end. While acknowledging the early stage of their partnership, Nagy does not shy away from the comparison to his former star quarterback and tight end.
