Actor Matt Damon was recently spotted at Disneyland, blending into the background during a heartwarming family moment with Goofy. The sighting occurred at Goofy's Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel, where a family was meeting the Disney character.
Loryn Powell shared a video on Instagram showing her daughter's first encounter with Goofy. Unbeknownst to the family, Damon was standing nearby, observing the interaction with a smile. The video caption humorously noted that the daughter was more starstruck by Goofy than by the famous actor.
Online observers identified Damon partly by a hat that appeared to bear the logo of Artists Equity, a production company he co-founded with Ben Affleck. Some users initially questioned if it was indeed Damon, but the hat provided a potential clue.
Damon was at the theme park around the same time to celebrate his daughter Gia's 18th birthday. He was seen with his wife, Luciana Barroso, their daughters, and other relatives and friends. Photos from the outing showed the group wearing matching "Birthday Crew" shirts and posing in front of a large Mickey Mouse pumpkin at Disneyland Park.
It was not immediately clear if Powell's video was captured during the same celebration. IMAGE1: IMAGE4:
