Matt Damon attended the premiere of his new film, "The Odyssey," and its subsequent afterparty with his wife, Luciana, and all four of their daughters. The event took place Monday at an exclusive Mayfair private members' club.

Damon, who stars as the titular character Odysseus in the film directed by Christopher Nolan, was accompanied by his daughters Alexia, 26; Isabella, 19; Gia, 17; and Stella, 15. This marks a rare occasion for the actor, known for keeping his family life private, to bring his wife and daughters to a movie premiere.

Earlier in the evening, Damon had walked the red carpet with his entire family. For the premiere's afterparty, he headed to Oswald's with his teenage daughters, Gia and Stella, to mingle with the film's all-star cast. Damon, who had worn a suit earlier, removed his jacket and tie for the celebration.

Stella wore a pink satin gown with a lace trim, while Gia opted for a cheetah print dress. Isabella was also seen arriving at the event.

Other notable attendees at the premiere and afterparty included Charlize Theron, who made an entrance in a red halterneck gown and black PVC gloves, and Zendaya, who arrived in a Valentino dress with leaf detailing. Tom Holland was also seen exiting the event.

Damon plays Odysseus, the Greek King of Ithaca, in "The Odyssey." The film chronicles his challenging journey home after the Trojan War to reunite with his wife and son. It is scheduled for release in U.S. and U.K. cinemas on July 17.

Damon recently spoke about the challenges of fatherhood in Hollywood, telling Jason Kelce on the "New Heights" podcast in January, "Don't blink." He recalled a recent instance where his 17-year-old daughter asked him to brush her hair, an act he hadn't performed in years.

He also shared insights into his family life, noting that one of the reasons he fell in love with his wife, Luciana, was her role as a dedicated single mother to her then-four-year-old daughter, Alexia. Damon legally adopted Alexia after marrying Luciana in 2005, embracing his role as a stepfather. The couple later welcomed three more daughters: Isabella, Gia, and Stella.

Damon described the filmmaking process for "The Odyssey" as challenging and collaborative. He told People that the production team experienced hardships together, comparing it to an expedition where everyone was on equal footing. "I do feel really bonded with everybody who was on that movie, cast and crew, because it was so challenging for everyone," he said.
