Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, 40, were seen in a rare casual outing in New York City on Tuesday, ahead of New York Fashion Week. The twin actresses-turned-fashion moguls, who head up the billion-dollar fashion brand The Row, opted for comfortable attire during the low-key outing.

The Olsen twins's luxury fashion house is not scheduled to present a show during New York Fashion Week. However, they are slated to present their Spring/Summer 2027 collection at Paris Fashion Week on September 30.

This appearance comes weeks after their former "Full House" co-star Jodie Sweetin detailed the twins' relationship with the show's cast in July. Sweetin, who played Stephanie Tanner on the sitcom, shared on the podcast "Comics and Kicks" that all cast members remain on good terms with Mary-Kate and Ashley.

"Everyone's on good terms with them, but they were eight years old when this show stopped," Sweetin said. "Then they did all those movies and all that stuff that I don't know that they loved doing all the time."

The Olsen twins began their acting careers as infants, jointly portraying Michelle Tanner on "Full House." They were on the show until the age of eight. Sweetin noted that while she was in her "formative years" during the show's run, the twins were very young and may not have retained many memories from that period.

After "Full House" concluded in 1995, the twins pursued a career in film and television through their company Dualstar. Sweetin also addressed their decision not to return for the Netflix reboot "Fuller House," stating, "They don't want attention and I get it. They had so much and were so invaded and so for public consumption, I totally understand why they don't wanna do that."

Mary-Kate opted for an all-black ensemble, including a flowy top, relaxed-fit jeans, and strappy leather sandals. Ashley wore a white T-shirt with baggy black shorts and a sweater draped around her neck, while holding a pair of blue jeans. Both sisters wore sunglasses and had their hair parted in the middle.

In the 2000s, the Olsen twins retreated from the spotlight, focusing on their fashion careers. Their luxury brand, The Row, has achieved significant success. Despite their withdrawal from public life, the sisters have maintained connections with their former "Full House" castmates. In 2022, they attended the funeral of Bob Saget, their on-screen father on the show. John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse, shared that the twins were instrumental in bringing the cast together at Saget's memorial service.
