Marvel's 'VisionQuest' Premieres on Disney+ October 13
The new miniseries, a continuation of the 'WandaVision' storyline, follows the resurrected Vision as he seeks to understand his identity.
Marvel's latest miniseries, "VisionQuest," is set to premiere on Disney+ on October 13, 2026. The series picks up approximately four to five years after the events of "WandaVision," with the android Vision, portrayed again by Paul Bettany, embarking on a journey of self-discovery.
In "VisionQuest," Vision grapples with his identity by interacting with various artificial intelligence personas embedded within his programming. His quest for understanding is complicated when a bounty is placed on his head, forcing him to go on the run. He is joined by a mysterious teenager who may be a reincarnation of one of his sons.
The series will release its first two episodes on October 13 at 9 p.m. ET, with subsequent episodes airing weekly until November 10. The release schedule is as follows:
- Episode 1: “No Strings” – Oct. 13 at 9 p.m. ET
- Episode 2: “Theseus” – Oct. 13 at 9 p.m. ET
- Episode 3: “Reboot” – Oct. 20 at 9 p.m. ET
- Episode 4: “Malware” – Oct. 20 at 9 p.m. ET
- Episode 5: “Firewall” – Oct. 27 at 9 p.m. ET
- Episode 6: “Deadlock” – Oct. 27 at 9 p.m. ET
- Episode 7: “Immolation” – Nov. 3 at 9 p.m. ET
- Episode 8: “Forever” – Nov. 10 at 9 p.m. ET
The cast features returning MCU actors and new faces. Paul Bettany reprises his role as Vision, the superpowered synthezoid originally created using the AIs J.A.R.V.I.S. and Ultron. James Spader returns as Ultron, the rogue AI. Ruaridh Mollica plays Tommy Maximoff, also known as Speed, Vision and Wanda Maximoff's son. Other cast members include Todd Stashwick as bounty hunter Paladin, T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, and Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y.
While not strictly required, viewing "Agatha All Along" before "VisionQuest" may provide additional context, particularly regarding the reappearance of Tommy Maximoff. The events of "WandaVision" are considered essential viewing for understanding the premise of "VisionQuest."
