Marvel's 'VisionQuest' Premieres Early on Disney+
The latest installment in the 'WandaVision' trilogy arrives ahead of schedule with a focus on Vision's memory and identity.
Marvel's "VisionQuest," the concluding series in the "WandaVision" trilogy, has moved its premiere date up by one day and is now available on Disney+. The series officially launched on October 13, with the first two episodes dropping at 9 p.m. ET.
"VisionQuest" follows Vision (Paul Bettany) as he grapples with his restored memories, which he struggles to connect with emotionally. The narrative explores his journey to understand his identity, encountering various AI personas and familiar Marvel Cinematic Universe characters embedded within his programming.
The series introduces a plot where Vision is targeted by a bounty, forcing him onto the run with a young person who may be his reincarnated son. This individual is revealed to be Tommy Maximoff, also known as Thomas Shepherd or Speed, the speedster son of Vision and Wanda Maximoff.
Cast and Characters
Paul Bettany reprises his role as Vision. The series also features James Spader returning as Ultron. Ruaridh Mollica makes his MCU debut as Tommy Maximoff. Other cast members include Todd Stashwick as Paladin, a bounty hunter pursuing Vision; T’Nia Miller as the android Jocasta; and Lauren Morias as Lisa Molinari.
Several AI characters that have previously appeared in the MCU are also set to feature in human forms. These include Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., Henry Lewis and Jonathan Sayer as D.U.M.-E and U, Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., and James D’Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S.
Release Schedule
"VisionQuest" will release episodes weekly through November 10. The initial two-episode premiere aired on October 13. Subsequent episodes are scheduled as follows:
- October 20: Episode 3, "Reboot"; Episode 4, "Malware"
- October 27: Episode 5, "Firewall"; Episode 6, "Deadlock"
- November 3: Episode 7, "Immolation"
- November 10: Episode 8, "Forever"
New episodes are set to be released every Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET.

"VisionQuest" is a streaming exclusive available only on Disney+. Subscription options for Disney+ include a plan with ads for $12.49 per month and an ad-free plan for $21.49 per month.
