Martin Freeman and Girlfriend Rachel Mariam Attend "A Long Winter" Premiere Together

Martin Freeman, 55, appeared alongside his girlfriend Rachel Mariam, 31, at the premiere of his new film "A Long Winter" on Wednesday. The couple attended a gala screening at the BFI London Film Festival, where Freeman stars in the drama with Caitríona Balfe and Fred Hechinger.

Mariam, who has been dating Freeman since 2020, supported him at the event. The film "A Long Winter" is set in the US mountains and follows a family's adaptation to the approaching winter. It is based on a 2006 short story of the same name.

Mariam, who is French, has appeared in BBC's "Normal People" and "This Way Up," as well as other acting roles and commercials. She has also formed a close bond with Freeman's children, Grace, 21, and Joe, 18, whom he shares with his ex-partner Amanda Abbington. Videos have shown Mariam interacting with Freeman's children.

Freeman previously discussed his relationship with Mariam on the "Table Manners" podcast, sharing their enjoyment of cooking together. He also spoke about a Sherlock-themed escape room experience with his family on "The Jonathan Ross Show."

Freeman and Abbington were together for 16 years before splitting in 2016. Mariam has also pursued screenwriting and was a runner-up in a TV pilot competition.
