Martha Stewart, a close friend and frequent client of "The Real Housewives of New York City" newcomer Daisy Toye, "does not care at all" about the popcorn ceiling in Toye's rent-controlled apartment, Toye stated.

Stewart, a makeup artist to the stars, regularly receives beauty services at Toye's New York City residence. While some cast members have expressed opinions about the apartment's popcorn ceiling, Stewart remains unbothered by it. "She’s very comfortable in my home," Toye said in an interview.

Stewart's only noted aesthetic aversion, according to Toye, is to a black-and-white checkered teapot. Stewart has also commented on Toye purchasing a store-made pie, but otherwise, she is unfazed by her friend's home decor. Stewart is reportedly supportive of Toye's role on the Bravo franchise and enjoys watching the show.

Toye, who joined "RHONY" for its 16th season alongside Hailey Glassman and Erika Hammond, acknowledged feeling intimidated at first. However, pre-existing friendships with castmates Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy, and Hammond helped ease her transition.

Toye and De Silva's connection dates back to the early 2000s when they worked together at the New York City nightclub SCORES. Toye recalled the era as a time of significant earnings and carefree living, where she and De Silva would frequently go out to popular clubs during the week.

Despite some on-screen disagreements, such as calling Moskito Island a "dump" and relaying critical comments between cast members, Toye views such situations as navigable bumps in navigating friendships within a social setting. She cited her enjoyment of entertaining and socializing as motivators for joining the show.

Stewart had advised Toye to be cautious about her on-air statements, cautioning her not to say anything she wouldn't want repeated. Toye has since expressed regret for repeating comments made by Jessel Taank and Erika Hammond about Erin Lichy's flooded home, calling the action "stupid" and out of character.

Regarding Sai De Silva's divorce from David, Toye expressed sadness for her friend and her children, noting their close bond.

As a professional makeup artist, Toye emphasized the importance of skincare, recommending Martha Stewart's Elm Bioscience serum and Softwave facials for those seeking to maintain a youthful appearance. She also offered a simple beauty tip: always wash your face.
