Marshall Manning, Son of Peyton, Already Garnering College Football Offers
The 15-year-old quarterback from the Baylor School has received four offers, including from powerhouses Ohio State and Miami.
Marshall Manning, the 15-year-old son of NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, has already secured four college football scholarship offers, including from prominent programs Ohio State and Miami. Purdue and Missouri State have also extended offers to the freshman quarterback.
Manning, a member of the 2030 recruiting class, plays for the Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He is currently the backup quarterback to Keegan Croucher, a 2027 commit to Ole Miss. Manning wears jersey number 16, a tribute to his father's number during his collegiate career at Tennessee.
While Manning has yet to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee, his recruiting process is still in its early stages. He has ample time to develop and potentially attract more offers as his high school career progresses.
Manning made his high school debut in late August, completing his first pass. His head coach at Baylor, Erik Kimrey, expressed his intention to involve Manning in more game action this season to aid his development. In a recent game, Manning led his team on a touchdown drive, completing three of four passes for 35 yards in the third quarter.
The Manning family has a significant football legacy. Peyton Manning is a Hall of Fame quarterback, and his brother Eli is also a two-time Super Bowl champion. Their cousin, Arch Manning, is currently the starting quarterback at the University of Texas and is considered a top prospect for the 2027 NFL Draft.
