A married New York doctor has admitted that his affair with a Long Island stripper was the “worst mistake of my life,” according to court filings. Wealthy family physician Keith Hoerning, 51, is engaged in a legal battle with his former mistress, Rosana Kissoon, 39.

Kissoon filed a $1 million lawsuit in Suffolk County court, alleging an 18-month affair filled with affectionate text messages. The dispute escalated after Hoerning attempted to have Kissoon arrested as their relationship ended, The Post previously reported. Hoerning has countered with his own court filing, which includes screenshots of alleged text exchanges purportedly documenting Kissoon's escalating threats.

Hoerning stated in a sworn affirmation that he met Kissoon and developed a relationship that he considers the "worst mistake of his life." He claims that Kissoon began demanding money, threatening to expose their secret relationship to his family and engaging in other menacing behavior. Hoerning asserts that the payments he made were not romantic gestures but responses to her demands, including threats to harm his family and his father-in-law.

According to the filing obtained by the Daily Mail, Kissoon allegedly made threats such as "I will get him killed" and "I want u dead." She also allegedly demanded payment, stating, "From now on you will only pay me." Other alleged threats included, "If i [cant] be with u I’ll end ur family."

Hoerning's attorneys argue that the text messages show Kissoon used the threat of exposing the affair to extort money. They contend that her lawsuit is an attempt to continue harassing him.

However, Kissoon disputes these claims. Her attorney, Michael Treanor, has stated that Kissoon believed they were building a life together and that the payments were voluntary financial support. Treanor previously told the Mail that he did not view the situation as a "gold-digger situation" and believed Kissoon cared for Hoerning until she learned she would not be part of his future. He added that Hoerning then involved the legal system against her.

Kissoon's lawsuit reportedly stemmed from Hoerning's attempt to have her arrested after their affair ended. Text messages presented in court filings suggest disputes over money and Kissoon's alleged threats to expose the infidelity to Hoerning's wife, Nicole. In one exchange, Kissoon allegedly wrote, "I want it all... You said you will pay for my car... It will be a price ok." She also allegedly sent multiple messages stating, "I want to call her," referencing Hoerning's wife.

Hoerning reportedly apologized in text messages, stating "I’m sorry" and "I don’t understand what happened." He also admitted, "I paid bc you told me." Kissoon allegedly admitted in a separate thread, "It’s over…I never cared about u…I used u."
