Married 'Challenge' Star Anna Leigh Wilson Admits to Flirting, Calls Out Co-Stars

Anna Leigh Wilson, a married contestant on "The Challenge: Cutthroat," has acknowledged a flirtatious interaction with co-star Leo Dionicio during the show, describing it as a "mistake" in an exclusive interview with Page Six. Wilson, who has been married to Coy Wilson since 2020, stated that she informed her husband about the incident immediately upon regaining access to her phone after filming.

"I did something pretty controversial on national television," Wilson told Page Six. "I made a mistake, but also I’ve recognized that accountability doesn’t mean that I have to plead guilty to the director’s cut that everybody else wrote for me."

Earlier in the season, a scene aired where Wilson and Dionicio engaged in an intimate conversation, with both admitting to feeling "horny." Dionicio also referred to Wilson as his "eye candy." Following the broadcast of this scene, Wilson posted a statement on Instagram admitting she had "crossed the line" and apologized to her husband.

Wilson also addressed the "Underweargate" incident, where Alexis Lete accused Wilson of flirting with Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio after his underwear was found in Wilson's bag. Wilson believes Devenanzio, a seven-time "Challenge" champion, orchestrated the situation.

"I knew it was plotted," Wilson said. "Like, who wants to take a grown man’s underwear?" She added that Devenanzio "does everything for the plot" and commented on Lete's perceived involvement with him.

Wilson expressed frustration with how the events were portrayed, suggesting that additional drama was created by others. "But I don’t need everybody adding in bonus scenes. That’s what’s making my life so much harder, and honestly that’s what they did when we were on the show filming. It’s just non-stop putting out fires and trying to defend myself."

"The Challenge: Cutthroat" airs new episodes on Wednesdays on Paramount+.
