Married At First Sight groom Harrison Boon has married his long-time partner Gina in a private ceremony held overlooking Sydney Harbour. The couple exchanged vows on Saturday with only two witnesses present, opting for an intimate celebration.
Boon told the Daily Mail that the ceremony was kept small out of consideration for Gina's family, who were unable to travel from Germany. "We both loved the idea of making the day about us, without having to cater to anyone else. It made it so much more special," he said.
The newlyweds marked the occasion with photos around Circular Quay, with the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge in the background. Gina wore an ivory satin gown with a halter neckline and an open back, accessorized with soft waves and a bouquet of white roses. Boon was dressed in a dark forest green suit, a white dress shirt, black shoes, and a white pocket square.
The couple announced in May that they are expecting their first child. Boon proposed to Gina in October 2024 during a helicopter ride over Uluru in the Northern Territory.
Boon first appeared on Married At First Sight Australia in 2023, where he was paired with Bronte Schofield. He became a controversial figure on the show due to accusations of manipulation and dishonesty from other cast members, though some of these claims were later proven to be true.
His relationship with Gina has largely been kept out of the public eye since he left the show. Congratulations were shared on Instagram by fellow MAFS stars, including Duncan James, Jack Dunkley, and Al Perkins.
