Mark Wright recently shared family photos depicting dry, scorched grass, a move that follows public scrutiny of his estate's vibrant greenery during a regional hosepipe ban. The images, posted to Instagram, show Wright, his parents, brother Josh, nephews, and daughter Palma enjoying a day outdoors.

The former star of "The Only Way Is Essex" and his wife, actress Michelle Keegan, own a £1.3 million mansion in Essex. Photos from the previous week showed the grounds of their property, including its expansive lawn and outdoor swimming pool area, appearing remarkably lush and green, despite the hosepipe ban implemented by their water supplier, Essex and Suffolk Water.

Wright captioned the recent family photos, "A special weekend with all the fam. Summer just hits different." While he did not specify a location for these new pictures, many followers noted the parched appearance of the grass, with comments such as "Grass is looking a bit burnt." However, some social media users observed that the final photograph in the series appeared to showcase the well-maintained, green lawn of Wright's own estate.

Essex and Suffolk Water enacted the temporary hosepipe ban in response to prolonged dry weather and declining water reserves. This ban prohibits customers from using hosepipes, sprinklers, pressure washers, or automatic irrigation systems for various tasks, including watering gardens, washing vehicles, or filling pools. The Environment Agency has declared a drought across a significant portion of England, including Essex. According to Essex and Suffolk Water, reservoir levels were at approximately 69 percent, below the typical level for this time of year, while demand increased due to hot weather.

While the source of the lush grass at Wright's home remains unconfirmed, and there is no direct evidence of a breach of the ban, the juxtaposition of the social media posts has drawn attention. The property, which the couple purchased in 2019 for £1.3 million, features a five-bedroom house with extensive landscaped grounds and an Ibiza-style outdoor pool.
