The Chase star Mark 'The Beast' Labbett and TV presenter Hayley Palmer have reunited two years after their acrimonious split. The former couple met for dinner at Nando's, sharing details of their reunion on Instagram.
The friendly display comes after a period of tension following their break-up. Palmer had previously claimed that Labbett ended their relationship because he did not want to divorce his ex-wife, Katie, with whom he shares a seven-year-old son. Labbett, however, later attributed the split to personal reasons, stating, "it's me, I got old."
Their reunion follows a previous incident in December when Labbett withdrew from an appearance on Palmer's show, "An Audience with..." The interview was set to cover Labbett's career in competitive quizzing and his television fame. Palmer announced the cancellation on Instagram, citing unforeseen circumstances and assuring ticket holders of refunds.
