Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) has released a video criticizing high fuel prices, attributing the current costs to former President Donald Trump. The clip, which garnered over 2.9 million views on X, shows Greene at a gas station noting the price of diesel in California and Georgia.

"All right, $8.49 for diesel in California," Greene stated in the video. "It’s $6.59 in Georgia. I don’t care if it’s Georgia or California. It’s way too high. This is ridiculous."

She further elaborated on the impact of fuel costs, saying, "Look, everything you buy – your food, your supplies, all of your goods – gets delivered by diesel. The war in Iran has got to stop. This is Trump’s fault. This should not be this high. It needs to end. Ridiculous."

This criticism marks a departure from Greene's previous public alignment with Trump. At a recent rally, Trump himself commented on the cost of gas, suggesting that current prices were "a very inexpensive price to pay for what we’ve done."

Greene has become an increasingly vocal critic of the former president since their alliance fractured. The Georgia congresswoman has publicly questioned Trump on issues such as the Jeffrey Epstein files and government shutdowns, and Trump has previously referred to her as a traitor. Greene has described herself as "politically homeless" after resigning from the Republican Party.
