Maria Bartiromo has departed Fox News, concluding nearly 13 years with the conservative media company. Her final broadcast aired Thursday morning on the Fox Business Network.
It remains unclear whether Bartiromo resigned from her position or was terminated. A Fox News spokesperson offered a brief statement to The Daily Mail, saying, "We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter."
Bartiromo, formerly of MSNBC, was widely recognized as a financial journalist, earning the nickname "money honey" for her combination of business acumen and on-air presence. In recent years, she became a notable supporter of former President Donald Trump, frequently featuring him as a guest on her programs.
At Fox News, Bartiromo hosted the weekday program "Mornings with Maria" on the Fox Business Network and the Sunday morning show "Sunday Morning Futures" on the main Fox News channel. Following her departure, "Mornings with Maria" will feature a rotating lineup of hosts. This week's "Sunday Morning Futures" is being anchored by Jason Chaffetz, with a permanent host to be announced at a later date.
