Maria Bartiromo has issued her first public statement since her departure from Fox News was announced last week. The longtime television journalist posted an image of a rainbow against cloudy skies on social media, thanking supporters and stating, “More to come.”

Fox News confirmed Bartiromo's exit last week, acknowledging her 12.5-year tenure and wishing her well in her next professional phase. However, reports suggest the separation was not entirely amicable.

Following the announcement of Bartiromo's departure, outlets including Status and Puck News reported that she had allegedly shown a confidential Fox News internal memo to the White House. This memo reportedly instructed employees not to promote unsubstantiated claims regarding China's alleged involvement in the 2020 U.S. presidential election's outcome.

Peter Navarro, an advisor to former President Donald Trump, stated in a Washington Times op-ed on Tuesday that Bartiromo had shared the memo with him. Navarro admitted to forwarding the memo and later told Newsmax that he believed it was his obligation to do so. He also commented that Bartiromo was "aghast at what the network was doing."
