Actress Margot Robbie has reportedly purchased an opulent six-bedroom ranch in the Currumbin Valley on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The property, known as Redwood, was acquired for $28 million and is located near where Robbie spent her childhood.

The sale was completed in June of the previous year and has been recorded as Queensland's most expensive residential transaction. The estate features six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a ten-car garage, stables, a swimming pool, a tennis court, and spans seven acres of land. Its modern design, with extensive glass and balconies, has drawn comparisons to the iconic Barbie Dreamhouse.

Robbie, who has been nominated for an Oscar, has spoken about her connection to the Currumbin Valley. In a 2019 interview, she recalled spending time in the area during her youth, mentioning how her mother would call her in for dinner from the fields. She expressed gratitude for her Gold Coast upbringing.

After gaining early fame on the Australian TV series 'Neighbours,' Robbie moved to Hollywood. Her career has since included roles in films such as 'Mary Queen of Scots' and 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.' Her starring role and producer credit in the 2023 film 'Barbie' are estimated to have earned her $50 million. The film itself achieved significant box office success, becoming the highest-grossing film of 2023 and ranking among the top-grossing films of all time.

Robbie currently divides her time between Los Angeles, Australia, and London, where she resides in Notting Hill with her husband, Tom Ackerley. The couple married in 2016 and welcomed a son in 2024.
