Margot Robbie and Bradley Cooper shared a passionate kiss while filming intimate scenes for an upcoming Ocean's Eleven prequel on the French Riviera. The co-stars are currently shooting the heist reboot, which is reportedly set to follow the parents of Danny Ocean, portrayed by Cooper and Robbie, at the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix.
The scene involved Cooper pulling Robbie in for a kiss on a hotel balcony overlooking Villefranche-sur-Mer. Robbie, 36, was dressed in a 1960s-inspired white and turquoise halterneck midi-dress with a French twist hairstyle. Cooper, 51, wore a white vest top.
Witnesses described the moment as "rather strange to see them; suddenly I looked out, and they appeared on the balcony snogging." They also noted that "The whole town has been transformed back to the 1960s."
Other actors attached to the project include Monica Barbaro, Vicky Krieps, George MacKay, Jack Holden, Lauren Ridloff, Omar Sy, Wagner Moura, and Josh Gad. Robbie has been involved with the project since 2022, with initial reports suggesting Ryan Gosling would also be part of the cast, though his involvement is currently unclear.
Josey McNamara, a producer on the project, previously told GamesRadar+ that the team is "trying to do right by the franchise" and expressed excitement for its release.
The Ocean's franchise began with the 2001 film starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, and Matt Damon. Warner Bros. has since released sequels including Ocean's Twelve and Ocean's Thirteen, as well as the 2018 female-led spin-off Ocean's Eight, which featured Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, Cate Blanchett, and Anne Hathaway. The original films were inspired by the 1960 movie of the same name, starring Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin.
