Margaret Qualley has been photographed on the set of the upcoming Paramount Pictures reboot of "Possession" in Jersey City, New Jersey. This marks her first public appearance since reports of a split from musician Jack Antonoff surfaced.

Qualley's representative addressed speculation regarding the end of her marriage, telling TMZ on July 10 that "there was no infidelity" and "no trust issues" contributing to the separation. The couple was reportedly less than a month away from their third wedding anniversary.

On set, the 31-year-old actress was observed listening to music, seemingly preparing for her role. She was seen in a black long-sleeve bodysuit, an A-line chiffon skirt, pantyhose, and loafers, with costume designer Jocelyn Pierce credited for the styling. Qualley is set to portray dual roles in the psychological horror film: Anna and Helen, characters experiencing increasingly distressing situations amidst a divorce.

The film's director, Parker Finn, known for the "Smile" franchise, is helming this project. Robert Pattinson is among the seven credited producers. The original 1981 film "Possession," starring Isabelle Adjani, was known for its intense emotional themes and surreal elements. Director Andrzej Żuławski's original film has gained renewed attention following the recent death of its co-star, Sam Neill.

Qualley, who has a background in dance and gymnastics, appeared to be utilizing her physicality on set, running out of a fictional cafe and down the sidewalk. Her upcoming role follows her transformative performance in the 2024 body horror film "The Substance." She also has roles in Ridley Scott's sci-fi film "The Dog Stars," Amazon's romantic drama "Love of Your Life," and Neon's supernatural horror "King Snake."

Antonoff, the 42-year-old frontman for Bleachers, has been seen still wearing his wedding ring. His band is scheduled to headline the Shadow of the City Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey, on August 28. The couple, who began dating in the summer of 2021, were last pictured together at the Grammy Awards in February. Reports have suggested various factors contributed to their separation, with some sources alleging Antonoff was difficult to live with.

Recently, Bleachers stopped performing Lana Del Rey's 2023 song "Margaret," reportedly written about Qualley. Antonoff also attended the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce with his sister, Rachel, as his date instead of Qualley.

Qualley had previously altered her Instagram handle to remove references to Antonoff's song "Isimo" and deleted photos from their wedding day. Her past relationships include links to Nat Wolff, Pete Davidson, and Shia LaBeouf. Antonoff has reportedly been linked to Carlotta Kohl, Lena Dunham, and Scarlett Johansson.
