Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff have reportedly separated, with their recently renovated summer beach house in Long Beach Township, New Jersey, appearing to be unoccupied. The couple, who had been together for nearly three years, were announced to have split on Wednesday.
The three-story residence, located near public beach access, features ocean views, brickwork, white-paned windows, and a white-painted front and garage door. A gray-stoned driveway leads to the house, which is complemented by green bushes and flowers. The rear of the property includes large windows, spacious balconies, and a rooftop area. Construction on the home, built on a vacant lot, was active in 2022.
Sources confirmed to People that Qualley, 31, and Antonoff, 42, are no longer living together and are experiencing a "rocky" relationship. Another insider indicated the couple is "figuring things out," while a source told the gossip site DeuxMoi that "many factors" contributed to the split, including allegations that Antonoff had been difficult to live with.
Qualley has reportedly removed photos of Antonoff from her Instagram, including their wedding pictures from 2023. Her last public social media acknowledgment of Antonoff was a birthday tribute on her Instagram stories in late March, which has since expired. She has also reverted her Instagram handle to her full name, Sarah Margaret Qualley, after using variations that appeared to reference Antonoff's song "Isimo."
The pair were last publicly seen together in February at the Grammy Awards. Antonoff was recently in attendance at Taylor Swift's wedding, where he was accompanied by his sister, and Qualley was not present.
Weeks prior to the separation news, Antonoff made an awkward remark when asked about his marriage on the Today show, stating it would be "impossible to think of" a favorite wedding moment before quickly changing the subject. He also responded hesitantly when asked about Swift's nuptials.
Qualley and Antonoff were first romantically linked in August 2021, and their relationship was seemingly confirmed when they attended the Critics' Choice Awards together in March 2022. Engagement rumors surfaced in May 2022 when Qualley was seen wearing a diamond ring at the Cannes Film Festival, and their engagement was confirmed later that month.
The couple married in August 2023 at Parker's Garage in Long Beach, New Jersey, with close family and celebrity friends, including Cara Delevingne, Lana Del Rey, and Taylor Swift, in attendance. Antonoff was seen wearing his wedding band on Wednesday, the same day news of the split became public, while out in Brooklyn.
