Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff File for Divorce
The actress and musician, who married in August 2023, have jointly filed for divorce.
Margaret Qualley has filed for divorce from her husband, Jack Antonoff, after less than three years of marriage. Qualley listed as the plaintiff, but the couple jointly filed for divorce on Friday, according to New York Supreme Court records.
The couple, who married in August 2023, had previously sparked speculation about a potential split after Antonoff attended the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce solo. Sources close to the couple have stated that the separation was not due to any dramatic reason and dispelled rumors of infidelity, with one insider telling Page Six that they are "figuring this all out together" and that "sometimes, these things just don't work."
Reports indicate that communication challenges played a role in their marital difficulties. A source shared that Antonoff could be "very particular about how he liked things," and Qualley did not always feel her perspective was given equal weight. Us Weekly reported that Qualley initiated the breakup, citing their busy schedules and distance as contributing factors.
Qualley and Antonoff began dating in the summer of 2021 after meeting at a party. Antonoff proposed to Qualley in Paris in May 2022, and they married in New Jersey the following summer. Qualley described their relationship as "amazing" and "the best feeling in the world" in an interview shortly before their wedding.
