Margaret Qualley was absent from Taylor Swift's wedding celebration on Friday, July 3, 2026. Her husband, producer Jack Antonoff, attended the event without her, bringing his sister, Rachel Antonoff, as his guest.

Swift is reportedly marrying Travis Kelce in a ceremony at Madison Square Garden, with reports indicating over 1,100 guests are expected. Antonoff, a frequent collaborator with Swift, and his sister were also in attendance at a "rehearsal dinner" for approximately 100 guests held at the Infosys Theater on July 2.

Qualley's absence comes nearly a year after an incident where she appeared to have a guarded reaction when asked about Antonoff's involvement in Swift's album, "The Life of a Showgirl." During a February 2025 interview, when co-host Craig Melvin noted Antonoff's long-standing production work for Swift and an upcoming album, Qualley responded, "I don't know anything," before adding, "I'll be excited to listen to the music." Her response was described by some viewers as awkward, leading to speculation.

Antonoff has been Swift's primary co-songwriter and producer for her albums "Midnights" (2022) and "The Tortured Poets Department" (2024). However, Swift's latest record is reportedly produced by Max Martin and Shellback. Antonoff and Swift have collaborated on ten albums and several singles.

Plans for the wedding celebration at Madison Square Garden suggested a large-scale event with an estimated cost exceeding $15 million for venue, security, permits, catering, and decorations. City permits indicated the festivities could extend until 4 a.m. Taxpayers reportedly contributed over $1 million for the NYPD security detail present at Madison Square Garden.

Representatives for Qualley and Antonoff did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
