Country singer Maren Morris reflected on the wedding vows exchanged by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, describing them as "beautiful" and offering guests "a closer look into their love for each other and their sense of humor." Morris, who was among the approximately 1,000 guests at the ceremony held at Madison Square Garden on July 3, told People that witnessing the vows was an honor.

Morris, a longtime friend and collaborator of Swift, noted that her favorite part of the event was "just celebrating their love for each other." The vows, each reportedly lasting around 20 minutes, were read from gold booklets, and guests received embroidered handkerchiefs. Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony.

According to accounts shared with People, Swift's vows included a reflection on Kelce's high school experiences, noting how he would sit with less popular students. Swift reportedly expressed a wish that she had known someone like him during her own high school years.

Sources indicated that Kelce was particularly emotional during the vows, with one insider stating he was "a puddle" as Swift walked down the aisle. "You would think the bride would be the one crying more, but it was actually Travis that was more emotional," another source told NBC News.

George Stephanopoulos, co-host of "Good Morning America" and an attendee, described the vows as "real, vulnerable, serious and silly, deeply loving." His co-host Robin Roberts characterized the wedding as "really intimate," noting the presence of neighbors and high school friends alongside celebrity guests.

Swift and Kelce, who began dating in 2023, are reported to have had a private civil ceremony prior to their larger celebration.
