Marcello Hernández has refuted claims that he brought a phone into Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, a scenario humorously put forth by comedian Kevin Hart. Hernández addressed the situation during an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" with host Andy Cohen.
When asked about the most surprising aspect of the celebrity wedding, Hernández recounted meeting Tom Cruise and bonding over their shared experiences of growing up in households with many women. He also noted the presence of many athletes he admired, likening the event to the ESPYs.
It was at this point that Hart interjected, jokingly accusing Hernández of sending him videos from the ceremony, implying he had snuck a phone past the no-phone policy. "You were sending me videos. You were like, ‘Kev, I can’t believe this. There’s no phones allowed, but look, I snuck mine in.’ Remember?" Hart said.
Hernández, laughing, directly addressed Travis Kelce to deny the accusation. "I did not do that, Aye yo, Trav, I did not do that," he stated. Hart, however, continued to playfully insist, "Remember? You were like, ‘Yo Kev, this is crazy right here.'"
Hernández, a cast member on "Saturday Night Live," attended the July 3 nuptials at Madison Square Garden with his girlfriend, Ana Amelia Batlle Cabral. The wedding ceremony, officiated by actor Adam Sandler, saw Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs player exchange vows. Both wore Christian Dior Haute Couture, and Swift reportedly walked down the aisle to her song "Love Story."
