Singer Marc Anthony, 57, and his fourth wife, Nadia Ferreira, 27, welcomed their second child together, a daughter named Myla, on Tuesday. The couple shared the news via a joint Instagram post, announcing the arrival of their "precious MYLA" and expressing their immense happiness.

Myla, a name of English and Slavic origins, means "merciful" or "gracious." The newborn is Anthony's eighth child overall. He also shares a son, Marco, with Ferreira. Anthony was previously married to Jennifer Lopez from 2004 to 2014, with whom he has 18-year-old twins, Emme and Max. His other children include Chase and Arianna with ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado, and Cristian and Ryan with ex-wife Dayanara Torres.

Ferreira, who was crowned Miss Paraguay in 2021 and was the first runner-up in the Miss Universe pageant, married Anthony in January 2023. The wedding ceremony took place at the Perez Art Museum in Miami and was attended by notable figures such as Maluma, David Beckham, and Salma Hayek. Miami Mayor Francis X. Suarez officiated the ceremony. Anthony and Ferreira first announced Ferreira's pregnancy in January, later revealing the baby's gender in March with photos shared on Instagram, where they posed on a boat in coordinating blue outfits. Ferreira was pictured holding a tiny pair of pink shoes, while Anthony cradled her baby bump.

The couple's announcement of Myla's birth comes just a month after Anthony's ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, made a rare public comment about him.
