Mandy Moore, 42, recently spoke candidly about the physical changes her body has undergone after welcoming three children in less than four years. The actress shared a post on her Instagram Story revealing "loose skin" on her stomach, stating, "After 3 kids in 3 1/2 years, this is what my body is.... Loose skin and all."

Moore and her husband, musician Taylor Goldsmith, are parents to sons Gus, five, Ozzie, three, and daughter Lou, who is nearly two. The couple welcomed their youngest child in 2024.

In addition to her comments on her postpartum body, Moore also discussed her fertility journey on the "Not Skinny But Not Fat" podcast. She revealed that after conceiving her two sons naturally, she explored in vitro fertilization (IVF) as an "insurance policy" to potentially expand her family. Moore underwent one round of IVF, which was unsuccessful, yielding no viable eggs or embryos. She stated on the podcast that this result led her to believe that if another child was meant to be, it would happen naturally.

Despite her openness to further expansion, Moore expressed contentment with her existing family, referring to her sons as "these two guys." However, she noted the surprise arrival of her daughter, Lou, humorously remarking, "And then Lou just had to show up. And she showed up very, very surprisingly." She clarified that while they were not actively trying to conceive Lou, they remained open to the possibility due to their prior exploration of IVF.

Moore also shared footage of herself working out with a personal trainer, expressing her commitment to getting stronger. "I'm super awkward and not a natural athlete but I’m committed to getting stronger for the long run," she wrote. She previously opened up about the toll of having three children in under four years, admitting in June that she was "still emotionally recovering." She also mentioned that her pregnancies were energetically easy and she did not experience postpartum symptoms. Also on Thursday, Moore shared footage of her working out in the gym with her personal trainer.

This openness follows previous discussions about her fertility. In 2024, Moore revealed on a podcast that she had been told she had a low chance of conceiving before becoming pregnant with her first child, Gus. She recalled, "The doctor told me there was a slim chance of getting pregnant… and then lo and behold to our surprise, I became pregnant with Gus."
