Man Stabbed on NYC Bus During Altercation

A 56-year-old man was stabbed on a New York City bus on Sunday morning following an argument with another passenger. The incident occurred around 9:20 a.m. aboard a Q44-SBS MTA bus near Main Street and 39th Avenue in Flushing, Queens.
The victim sustained a single stab wound to the leg. Emergency medical services transported him to Booth Memorial Hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.
Authorities took a person of interest into custody following the assault. The stabbing took place just one block from a major transit hub at the intersection of Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue, which serves the 7 subway line and a Long Island Railroad station.
