Police are searching for Terry Lamar Easter, 50, also known as “Capone,” in connection with a fatal hit-and-run collision on August 14 in Victorville, California. A $1 million arrest warrant has been issued for Easter for his alleged role in the crash that killed best friends Isabell DeLand, 16, and Maddalyn Dailey, 17.

Authorities state that Easter was driving a Chevrolet Camaro when it, along with a Dodge Charger, struck the victims' vehicle. The impact reportedly sliced the girls' car in half, killing them instantly. Easter is accused of fleeing the scene on foot, leaving his 11-year-old son in the passenger seat of the damaged Camaro, which was reportedly on fire. The driver of the Dodge Charger remained at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.

The California Highway Patrol describes Easter as 5 feet 6 inches tall with black hair and hazel eyes and warns that he should be considered armed and dangerous. Investigators have also listed an associate of Easter, Ryan Lewis, and Lewis's mother, Madge Wells, as wanted in connection with the crash, but both have since been apprehended.

The two teenage victims were best friends and attended the same high school. One victim's father reported hearing the crash shortly after his daughter mentioned she was dropping off her friend, noting the intersection's hazardous nature due to the absence of traffic signals.
