Man Pleads Guilty to Sexually Assaulting Woman Drugged by Husband

Sean Peers, 38, pleaded guilty on September 15, 2024, to one count of assault by penetration. The assault occurred against a woman who had been drugged by her husband without her knowledge. Peers was scheduled to stand trial at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court.

The husband, whose identity is being withheld to protect his wife's right to anonymity, faces accusations of inviting 13 other men to abuse his wife at their family home in the Stockport area of Greater Manchester. The husband has already pleaded guilty to 60 offenses against his wife and additionally admitted to a new charge of rape and one of sexual assault, both alleged to have occurred last summer.
