Man Pleads Guilty to Rapacious Acts in Decades-Long Abuse Case

Another man has pleaded guilty to raping a woman who was drugged and abused by her husband without her knowledge for over 20 years. Graham Brougham, 74, is the oldest of 13 men charged with sexual offenses against the victim. These individuals were allegedly invited into her home in the Stockport area of Greater Manchester to abuse her at the direction of her husband.
The husband, in his sixties, has already admitted to 62 offenses against his wife, including rape. He has provided a witness statement detailing the alleged abuse.
Brougham, from Northwich, appeared at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court. The judge presiding over the case informed Brougham that he should expect a lengthy prison sentence.
