Robert Guanco, a 41-year-old pastor at Jesus the Living Water Church in Eastbourne, East Sussex, has been identified as the man who died at the Big Church Festival in Worthing on Friday. The church described Guanco as a "faithful servant of God, a loving husband to Isay, a devoted and caring father to Ellie, and a blessing to so many people whose lives he touched."
His faith, love, and service to God will never be forgotten, the church said in a statement. The incident occurred when a sign fell at the festival, resulting in Guanco's death. Six other individuals sustained injuries in the same event, with four requiring hospitalization for treatment.
