Asad Hussain has been jailed for eight years after being convicted of stalking, assault, and failing to comply with an order to provide passwords to his devices. Hussain, 36, created a fake Tinder account in his ex-partner's name, using it to invite unknown men to her address with the false pretense that she was interested in a "rape fantasy" or being "roughed up".
Chester Crown Court heard that on one occasion in August 2024, four men arrived at the victim's home in a single night. In September, another man pushed her door with such force that it broke.
The victim stated in a statement read to the court, "No person has the right to make me feel unsafe in my own home just because I no longer want to date them. No should mean no. Now I am left wondering how many men have my address and believe I want to be sexually assaulted, or worse."
Hussain was convicted of stalking causing serious alarm or distress, assault, and failing to comply with an order to provide passwords to his devices.
