Metropolitan Police are seeking a man who was part of a group wearing lobster costumes at the World Darts Championship, after he allegedly attacked and seriously injured another attendee. The incident occurred on December 13 outside London's Alexandra Palace.

The victim, who is in his twenties, was leaving the venue around 4:30 PM GMT when he encountered the group of men in costume. An argument ensued, and security personnel intervened to separate the parties. Shortly thereafter, the victim again encountered the group on the venue's concourse, where one of the men allegedly punched him, rendering him unconscious.

Seven months after the assault, the victim continues to suffer from "significant injuries." The Metropolitan Police have released a CCTV image of the suspect in hopes of identifying him and appealing to potential witnesses.

Detective Constable Lizzie Coster stated, "This assault occurred outside at a major sporting event, and the suspect was wearing a distinctive costume." Police are hoping the image will help attendees or others in the vicinity at the time recall the incident.
