The victim in a recent kidnapping and execution in Chino Hills has been identified as 60-year-old Shukur Aikebaer. The suspect, 67-year-old Zhengfeng Bo, who was fatally shot by authorities, had a prior working relationship with Aikebaer, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

Zhengfeng Bo and an accomplice, 66-year-old Jianquan Bo, are accused of kidnapping Aikebaer on the night of July 29. Surveillance footage reportedly shows the suspects' vehicle entering Aikebaer's driveway. The men are alleged to have cut the power to Aikebaer's residence, luring him outside to investigate before shooting and abducting him. A 911 caller reported hearing gunshots and screaming.

Following the kidnapping, police initiated a traffic stop on the suspects' vehicle. The pursuit concluded a short distance from Aikebaer's home, leading to a tense standoff. During the confrontation, Jianquan Bo exited the vehicle and appeared ready to surrender. However, Zhengfeng Bo remained in the car before exiting, retrieving an item from the trunk, and firing at Aikebaer.

Deputies returned fire, striking Zhengfeng Bo, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Aikebaer also succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Jianquan Bo was taken into custody and has been charged with murder and kidnapping. He is being held without bail at the West Valley Detention Center.

Authorities executed a search warrant at a shared residence belonging to the suspects as part of the ongoing investigation. Evidence was recovered during the operation. The case is expected to be referred to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office for further review and potential charges.
