Freddy Brazier, 21, required emergency hospital treatment after his dog, Pablo, inflicted a deep laceration on his arm. The incident occurred when Brazier went to collect the pocket bully breed from his grandmother Jackie Budden's home.

Brazier described the attack as terrifying, stating he initially could not feel anything in his right arm before discovering a 3cm hole. He spent eight hours in the hospital receiving stitches for the injury. His grandmother, Jackiey Budden, was also injured while attempting to intervene and pull the dog off Brazier. Neighbours had previously contacted police and the fire brigade on July 16 after hearing screams as Pablo attacked Budden, who also required medical treatment.

Despite the severity of the attacks, Brazier expressed a strong desire to have Pablo returned, emphasizing the dog's importance to him. "I want my dog back, but my nan has told me that he can't go back to her house, and my dad won't have him at his house," Brazier told The Sun. "I have never seen him as my dog — he's like my son."

Pablo has been seized by police and is currently being held in kennels. Brazier fears the dog may be destroyed due to the incidents. The pocket bully breed has a history of aggression, with emergency services having been called to the scene the previous week for an attack on Budden.

This incident follows a period of complex family dynamics for Brazier. He previously ended his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Holly Swinburn, the mother of his daughter Isla Jade Brazier, following an argument over the dog. Brazier had also reportedly moved out of the home he shared with Swinburn in April, staying with his grandmother amid reported tensions over Swinburn's concerns about Jackiey's influence.

Brazier has had a tumultuous relationship with his grandmother, Jackiey. In the past, his father, Jeff Brazier, sought a court order to prevent Jackiey from contacting his son, expressing concerns about her influence. Despite past disagreements, Brazier and his grandmother appeared to have reconciled.

In a TikTok video, Brazier had previously claimed to have realized his grandmother had been lying to him. He also shared a personal struggle, stating in November that he had attempted to end his life by crashing his car before his 18th birthday during a manic episode.
