The man discovered in bed with a married woman and her children died from multiple stab wounds, with the official cause of death listed as acute exsanguination, according to a new report.

Nicholas Garcia, 28, was allegedly fatally stabbed by Ismael Pinedalopez, 34, after Pinedalopez reportedly came home and found Garcia in bed with his wife, Wendy, and their two-year-old and four-year-old children. The incident occurred on Oct. 24.

The manner of death was officially listed as homicide in a verification of death report filed on Oct. 30 and obtained by The California Post.

According to authorities, Pinedalopez allegedly used a pocketknife to stab Garcia. Video captured by a neighbor's security camera showed Anaheim police escorting Pinedalopez to a patrol car after his arrest.

He has been charged with felony murder with an additional enhancement for the personal use of a deadly weapon. Court records indicate his arraignment and bail review are scheduled for December 1, after he waived an earlier opportunity to be arraigned.

Wendy Clemente was observed shopping with two children days after the incident. When approached for comment, she stated, "I don't want to talk about it." Her brother, Elvis Clemente, echoed this sentiment, telling The Post, "My sister has said she doesn’t want to talk about it. It’s not a subject I want to talk about as well."

Neighbor Elizabeth Polanco, 71, described Pinedalopez as a "very nice, easygoing" man and a good father who was often seen with his children. Polanco noted that Pinedalopez worked night shifts while his wife worked days, and that the alleged attack occurred around 4:15 a.m. when he reportedly came home early.

Pinedalopez faces a maximum sentence of 26 years to life if convicted on all counts. The investigation is ongoing, and a final coroner's report has not yet been released.
