Man Fatally Stabbed Outside Birmingham Pub
Police are investigating after a man in his 20s was killed in a stabbing outside the Beggars Bush pub in Sutton Coldfield.
A man in his 20s died after being stabbed outside a pub in Birmingham early Sunday morning. Police were called to the car park of the Beggars Bush pub on Chester Road in Sutton Coldfield shortly before 2 a.m. on October 11, 2026.
Officers found the man with stab wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene. He is believed to have been 25 years old.
West Midlands Police have launched a murder investigation. Detective Chief Inspector Stacey Follows of the Major Crime Unit stated that the investigation is in its early stages and that the thoughts of the police are with the victim's family and friends.
No arrests have been made. Detectives are reviewing CCTV footage and appealing for witnesses to come forward. Police are particularly interested in speaking with partygoers who may have been at the pub, as it is believed to have been hosting an event, potentially a birthday.
Forensic officers were seen examining the scene, and a forensic tent was erected. Floral tributes have been placed outside the pub in memory of the deceased.
