Andrew Murray, 66, was fatally stabbed at his home on Lubach Street in Logan, south of Brisbane, on Tuesday afternoon following a dispute with a couple he had invited to stay with him. Police allege Lindsay James Kohn, 47, and Jillian Greer Francis, 43, refused to leave the property after being asked multiple times.
Detective Inspector Ian Galpin stated that Mr. Murray had invited Francis to live with him approximately four months ago to assist her in finding accommodation. Several neighbors attempted to provide assistance to Mr. Murray. One witness described hearing screams for help and seeing the victim "bleeding out."
