A man is gaining attention online after intervening when a stranger reportedly told two teenage girls to "shut up" at an airport. The incident, captured in a video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @Suzierizzo1, shows a bystander confronting the other passenger.
In the video, the man who stepped in can be heard telling the other passenger, "Talk to me the way you talked to them. See what happens." He continued, "I’m a man, talk to me the way you would talk to these little girls." The man who allegedly yelled at the teens reportedly stated he was tired.
"I don’t care if you’re tired — you’re a grown man, deal with it… They’re teenagers, let them be. It’s their first time traveling, you’re giving them a hard time…" the bystander stated in the video. The other passenger remained silent.
The video has garnered significant attention, with many social media users expressing support for the man who defended the teenagers. Comments included praise for his actions, with some users remarking on men who "always try to intimidate women and children."
This incident follows a separate, widely shared event earlier in June where a father was reportedly criticized after bringing his young daughters into a women's restroom at a rest stop. In that instance, a TikTok video showed the father with his daughters while a man in the background was heard calling the police. The father's response to his crying daughter and his calm demeanor were praised by many online commenters, particularly mothers.
