A man has been charged with murder and torture following the death of a baby boy in a Queensland hospital. The 22-year-old suspect was charged on Sunday, according to Queensland Police.
The infant was initially taken to Bundaberg Hospital on February 24, 2024. He was later airlifted to Queensland Children's Hospital on February 27 and died on March 3 of the same year. The charges against the man are related to domestic violence.
He is scheduled to appear at Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Monday. Police stated that investigations into the case are ongoing.
