A 33-year-old man has been charged in connection with the assault of three Jewish women in Hackney, east London. The incident occurred on Monday at approximately 1:40 p.m. BST on Clapton Common.
Police were dispatched to the scene after reports that a man had been detained by Shomrim, a Jewish neighborhood watch group, following the assaults. The victims sustained minor injuries as a result of the attacks.
The accused, identified as Abdisamad Siad, 33, from Pilgrims Way, Islington, has been charged with three counts of assault by beating.
