A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of Hannah Fry, a 29-year-old mother of two, who died after falling ill at her home in Longridge, Lancashire. The man was initially arrested on suspicion of coercive and controlling behavior and subsequently on suspicion of manslaughter. He has been released on bail with conditions pending further investigation.
Fry became unwell on July 13 and was taken to a hospital, where she died later the same day. Lancashire Constabulary is treating her death as unexplained and is continuing its inquiries into the circumstances that led to it.
A second man, aged 23, was also arrested in relation to the initial offense that prompted police attendance at the scene, according to a police spokesperson.
Ms. Fry's parents described her as their "beautiful and only daughter," the "light of our lives," and "the love in our hearts and souls." They stated that she was a devoted mother to her two daughters and a cherished family member and friend. They remembered her for her vibrant personality, sense of humor, and kindness.
Lancashire Constabulary has requested that the public refrain from unhelpful speculation to avoid causing further distress to Ms. Fry's family.
