Man Accused of Placing 'Love Hex' on OnlyFans Star
An OnlyFans creator claims a former college acquaintance attempted to use black magic to alter her romantic feelings.
OnlyFans creator Kit Barrus, 28, has accused a former college acquaintance of attempting to place a "love hex" on her. Barrus told The Post that the man, who she had previously rejected romantically, hid a beaded necklace with the words "FOR KIT" inside her home in an effort to make her develop feelings for him.
Barrus discovered the necklace wedged inside a table after the man attended a gathering at her home. "I remember looking at it and thinking, 'What the f--k is this?'" she recounted. She recalled that the individual had a documented interest in witchcraft and the spirit world, noting she had seen books on spells in his dorm room during their college years.
Suspecting his intentions, Barrus researched the practice online. She learned that some believe in creating enchanted jewelry by imbuing it with intentions during its creation, then leaving it at the target's residence to transfer energy. Although Barrus acknowledged the existence of online practitioners offering services like love spells, she stated she was not interested in developing unwilling romantic feelings.
To counteract the perceived hex, Barrus performed a spiritual cleansing of her home using sage. "I cleansed my entire place," she said.
The two initially met in college in Southern California, where both were mathematics majors. Barrus described their relationship as friends, though the man desired more. While they engaged in casual interactions, he eventually sought a romantic connection, which Barrus stated she repeatedly declined.
Barrus, who has approximately 10,000 monthly subscribers on OnlyFans and a significant following on Instagram, believed the man had accepted her decision. However, he later attended a casual poker game at her house, where he maintained a distance.
Days after the gathering, Barrus found the necklace, which she interpreted as a "powerful energy" intended to make her fall in love with him. She discarded the necklace and proceeded with cleansing her home, concluding that any spell attempt had failed.
