A man accused of murdering two women and raping a third allegedly carried out a series of sexual assaults on the London Underground, a court has been told. Simon Levy, 40, is accused of assaulting 10 women while traveling on the Tube network before these alleged murders.

Levy repeatedly sexually assaulted women on the London Underground between October 2023 and May 2025. The court heard that six of these attacks occurred during the period in which Levy is accused of murdering two women and leaving a third victim for dead. At the time of these assaults, Levy was reportedly under the supervision of probation and violent sex offender monitoring teams.

When police arrested Levy in April, they found thousands of newspaper clippings at his home related to notorious killers and rapists, including reports on John Worboys, Jeffrey Epstein, and Harvey Weinstein. Clippings also focused on serial killers, child rapes, and terror attacks. Jurors were informed that Levy had viewed YouTube content about Andrew Tate and Donald Trump.

Court documents state Levy also searched for Tube maps and made multiple searches related to sex, including phrases about seeking prostitutes. He allegedly kept folders labeled 'my sex record' and contained documents on sexual positions, chat-up lines, and prostitutes.

Levy's prior convictions include sexual assault in September 2021 after following a woman at a party and grabbing her underwear. He was also convicted of assault by penetration after attacking a victim met on the Tube, and sexually assaulting a prison officer at HMP Brixton in April 2022.

In total, Levy is accused of 13 sex attacks between 2018 and 2025. He is described by prosecutor Tom Little, KC, as a "predatory sexual attacker." Levy allegedly raped and smothered a sex worker in January of the previous year. The survivor told police she believed she would die during the attack.

Two months later, Levy is accused of killing Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo, 53, in a stairwell in Southwark in March of the previous year. She suffered neck compression and facial injuries. Levy was arrested on April 1 but provided no comment when questioned about her death.

He is also accused of a second murder on August 24 of the previous year. The body of Sheryl Wilkins, 39, was discovered behind a wall in a car park in Tottenham, near Levy's home. She had 83 injuries to her face, head, upper body, arms, and legs.

When questioned about the second murder, Levy stated, "No, there was no murder." He denies all charges, including murder, rape, grievous bodily harm with intent, and non-fatal suffocation. The trial is ongoing.
